HaulGrid / Field to office
Haul Ticket Management & OCR
Get the load's paperwork back into the workflow. HaulGrid brings ticket capture, OCR-assisted entry, and office review together for aggregate, dump truck, and bulk hauling operations.
Delivered material still leaves office work behind
The truck has moved on, but the office still needs the ticket number, date, quantity, and job. A photo buried in a message or a stack of scale tickets waiting to be keyed can hold up the handoff to billing.
HaulGrid helps reduce that re-entry without asking the office to trust an unreadable number. The ticket evidence, extracted information, and review belong in the same workflow.
From field evidence to office records
A ticket needs more than a scan
Reading the paper is one step. Knowing what the load belongs to, checking the facts, and preparing it for billing are just as important.
Capture the ticket while the work is still in view
Drivers can submit ticket photos from the Driver App against their assigned work. The office can also upload ticket images or PDFs, so paperwork arriving through different channels can enter the ticket workflow.
Let OCR assist with the entry
Haul ticket and scale ticket OCR extracts information such as ticket numbers, dates, and quantities from the image. It provides evidence for the record, not a promise that every field was read correctly.
Review the exceptions against the original
Keep the original ticket image available alongside the record. Confidence and validation checks flag questionable results for review, so the office can compare the evidence and correct ticket facts before billing.
Give the ticket its operational context
Keep tickets connected to the hauling work they support. Review customer, job, and material context, resolve missing information, and find records by ticket number or date instead of searching a stack of paperwork.
Move reviewed information toward billing
Approved, eligible tickets feed the invoicing workflow. Ticket capture is not invoice creation: the office still reviews billing, and existing financial protections apply.
OCR assists. Your office keeps control.
Exceptions need a person, not a guess
OCR can reduce typing, but a faint printout or an unexpected value still deserves attention. Automatic approval is subject to configured checks; questionable results stay in review. Your team can compare the original and correct the facts.
Corrections and financial history matter
Human-corrected ticket dates and quantities are protected from later OCR passes. Ticket facts can be corrected before financial output is committed; committed billing and settlement records remain protected. A rescan is not permission to rewrite financial history.
Close the gap between the truck and the office
Ticket management works better when it is connected to the hauling day. HaulGrid connects assigned work, submitted tickets, office review, and eligible billing information, helping your team spend less effort gathering the pieces at invoice time.
